Using Phone-In Your Daily Log
Some tips on making the Phone In feature work better: To improve the accuracy of your transcribed messages, there are some things you can do to help. First, try to speak very clearly, and to the point, pronouncing each word carefully. Slang, mumbling, etc. are tough to recognize accurately. Second, don’t speak overly fast: you do not need to slow down, just don’t try to jam everything into one message. You can easily record another log entry when prompted at the end of your first message. Third, if you are recording a complicated name or detail, you might want to spell it out, just like you might do on a voicemail. For instance, if you jotted a name that only sounds like “She-shef-ski”, we might not get the real spelling correct (Krzyzewski). |

Some users also find that due to the volume of messages in a given timeframe, there is a backlog that takes up to 12 hrs for transcription to be completed. If your account is set up properly, your Daily Log Notes will eventually appear. Simply scroll back in Procore to the day you created the Daily Log entry (messages will be transcribed into the “Notes” section) or select a multi-day view of your Procore Log and your message will appear. |

I am not sure if any of you have an iPhone, but our phone in feature now works with an application installed on your iPhone. Call us to ask how to enable this. |
